If you are a blogger who blogs about the outdoors, then the Outdoor Bloggers Weekend will be right up your street. It’s the second annual meeting of Outdoor Bloggers members and I am so silly excited about it.
Outdoor Bloggers is a community that was set up at the start of 2015 by Zoe of Splodz Blogz and I after a discussion about the lack of networks available for people who blog about outdoor-related activities.
Pretty much every blogging organisation, from agencies to awards, ask you to select which niche your blog about when you sign up to their services or newsletter. Their options are always the same – fashion, travel, beauty, home decor, food, parenting and DIY. But they never include the outdoors, or activities related to the outdoors, as niche. Frustrated by the lack of interest in our blogging niche, we decided to make our own community.
Outdoor Bloggers now has over 80 members and we are looking forward to the second Outdoor Bloggers Weekend which takes place 14th-17th October 2016.
We are proud to have Mud and Routes as the official sponsor for the Outdoor Bloggers Weekend 2016, who have kindly provided the camping for all members attending.
The Weekend is taking place at the beautiful Llyn Gwynant campsite in Snowdonia, Wales and we have activities planned throughout the weekend. On Saturday, we will be walking to the summit of Snowdown and on Sunday, the Mud and Routes team will lead a 5k trail run for those interested in stretching their legs. There will be chatting around the campfire and we are currently arranging goody bags filled with exciting presents from brands we love.
Places on the Outdoor Bloggers are limited and are filling fast, so check your diaries and get booked on as soon as you can.
It’s 100% free to become an Outdoor Bloggers and membership means you can come to the Outdoor Bloggers Weekend 2016 for free too! Whether you blog about cycling, hiking, camping, nature, photography, climbing…anything outdoor-related, then you are welcome to join us.
